A wet well is a versatile pump housing system that is most often implemented in new or existing natural bottom water features. This can be an especially helpful pump intake solution to house and protect pumps from debris or water level fluctuations. Although this style of intake won’t perform any major skimming/filtration benefits when operating by itself, it does keep the pump free of direct debris buildup and clogging. This system is constructed from the modular Aquascape product and should be installed on the shoreline at a determined optimal depth for the feature. Once all product is installed properly it should be covered with rock to keep the product locked into place while providing a natural look.
