The recommended pipe diameter for Aquascape EXT 12000 and EXT 18000 Pond Pumps is 3–4 in., depending on the plumbing configuration and required water flow.
The following connection sizes apply to both pump models, including the 3-phase versions:
- Recommended pipe diameter: 3–4 in.
- Pump suction inlet: 3 in. flange
- Pump discharge outlet: 2 in. flange
The recommended pipe diameter may be larger than the pump's discharge connection. Proper pipe sizing helps minimize friction loss and maintain water flow.
