Repotting a water lily is an ideal time to add Aquascape Once-A-Year Pond Plant Fertilizer to the potting media to support healthy growth and flowering.
- Add approximately 1 in. (2.5 cm) of Aquascape Pond Plant Potting Media to the bottom of the pot.
- Add Once-A-Year Pond Plant Fertilizer granules, spreading them evenly and following the package directions for the pot size.
- Position the water lily in the pot with the rhizome extending across the pot. For tropical water lilies, position the rhizome in the center.
- Add more potting media to cover the roots and completely bury the fertilizer.
- Cover the potting media with a layer of gravel or small stones to prevent it from washing away.
- Place the pot in the pond at the recommended depth for your water lily variety.
