This is almost always caused by low water level.
When the water drops:
- The pump begins to pull in air
- This creates a buzzing, gurgling, or grinding noise
- If ignored, it can lead to pump damage
Solution:
- Add water immediately until the pump is fully submerged
- Ensure the water level stays consistent moving forward
