Paint on an Aquascape decorative fountain may fade or require touch-ups after prolonged exposure to weather.
Aquascape does not manufacture or sell touch-up paint. Use an outdoor/exterior latex-based paint suitable for fountain surfaces. For the best color match, consult a local paint retailer or paint professional.
Touch-Up Instructions
- Thoroughly clean the fountain to remove dirt, sludge, hard-water buildup, and debris.
- Allow the fountain to dry completely.
- Apply the paint from side to side using a coarse-bristle or all-purpose paintbrush.
- Use a foam brush for recessed or difficult-to-reach areas.
- Allow the paint to dry for approximately 3–4 hours between coats.
- Apply additional paint as needed for complete coverage.
- Allow the final coat to dry for at least 24 hours before operating the fountain.
How Do I Match the Original Color?
If you have the original fountain color tile, take it to a local paint retailer for color matching.
