Yes. The Aquascape Pro Air 20 and Pro Air 60 can be used during winter to help maintain oxygen levels and keep a small opening in the ice.
For winter operation:
- Do not place the diffuser at the deepest point of the pond.
- Position the diffuser approximately 1 to 1.5 feet (30 to 46 cm) below the water surface.
- Place the diffuser in a shallow area of the pond when possible.
- Keep the deeper water relatively undisturbed so fish can remain in the warmer water near the bottom.
Placing the diffuser too deep during winter can circulate colder surface water into the deeper portion of the pond and disturb the natural temperature layering where fish overwinter.
