Aquascape, Inc. was founded in 1991 by Greg Wittstock, aka The Pond Guy. Greg is the owner and CEO of Aquascape, a company specializing in ponds, waterfalls, fountains, and water gardening products.
Greg's passion for water features began at age 12 when he built his first backyard pond for his pet turtle, Samson. He continued experimenting with ponds throughout his teenage years, developing a passion for creating natural-looking water features.
In 1990, while attending college, Greg decided to turn his hobby into a career. He came up with the name Aquascape and began professionally building ponds in 1991.
What started as a pond installation business grew into a company providing water feature products, installation services, and professional contractor training.
Today, Aquascape continues to promote Greg's vision of connecting people to water the way nature intended, focusing on naturally balanced, low-maintenance water features.
