The Aquascape Downspout Filter is designed to remove leaves, twigs, sediment, and other debris from roof runoff before rainwater enters a rainwater harvesting system. The filter is installed underground at the base of a downspout and uses two stages of mechanical filtration.

- Construction: Durable, rotationally molded housing.
- Installation location: Underground at the base of a roof downspout.
- Filtration type: Two-stage mechanical filtration.
- First-stage filtration: Grated lid and gravel layer remove leaves, twigs, and larger debris.
- Second-stage filtration: 300-micron filter net removes fine sediment, roofing particles, dust, and other small debris.
- Outlet connection: Molded hose tail accommodates 3 in. or 4 in. nominal corrugated drain pipe.
- Gravel: Required for first-stage filtration; not included.
- Electrical requirements: None. The filter operates without electricity.
