How do I backwash my UltraKlean Pond Filter?

Steps:

Turn off pump
Open discharge valve
Rotate valve to CLEAN
Run pump 1–3 minutes until water runs clear
Return to RUN position and restart

This process takes only a few minutes and does not require opening the filter
