What do I need to know before using the UltraKlean Pond Filter on my pond?
- Make sure to use all gaskets included with the filter fittings.
- When touching the UV bulb, use something such as a tissue or soft towel to protect the bulb from your hand and finger oils that can harm the bulb.
- Add bacteria to the pond while UV bulb is on an "off" setting.
- Make sure to cut off any unnecessary/unused hose-tails.
- Fill the filter with water prior to placing head portion into the tank.
- Make sure to attach back-flush cap after each cleaning.
