Start feeding your pond fish in the spring when the water temperature consistently reaches 50°F (10°C). Fish digest food more slowly in cold water, so it's important to wait until the pond warms up.
- Below 50°F (10°C): Do not feed your fish.
- 50–60°F (10–15.5°C): Begin feeding small amounts of Aquascape Premium Cold Water Fish Food Pellets, formulated for easier digestion in cooler water.
- Above 60°F (15.5°C): Gradually transition to regular pond fish food as water temperatures rise.
Use a pond thermometer to monitor the water temperature, and start with small portions to avoid overfeeding.
