Your Aquascape de-icer is controlled by a built-in thermostat. It will automatically turn on and off depending on water temperature.
- It turns on when temperatures approach freezing
- It turns off when temperatures rise (around 70°F / 21°C)
This is normal operation and helps prevent overheating while conserving energy.
