Your Aquascape de-icer includes an LED indicator light to show operation:
- Red light = the unit is actively heating
- Blue light = the unit is not heating (standby mode)
You may also notice a small opening forming in the ice near the unit. Avoid touching the heater while operating, as it can become very hot.
