Your Aquascape product warranty is designed to cover manufacturing defects, but it does not apply to issues caused by improper use, installation, or normal wear.
The following situations are typically not covered under warranty:
Improper use, handling, or maintenance
- Negligent handling or misuse of the product
- Using the product outside of its intended purpose (misapplication)
- Lack of proper maintenance or care
Installation and setup issues
- Improper installation or setup
- Failure to follow recommended operating conditions
- Failure to properly winterize products that require it (this can void the warranty)
Electrical and environmental damage
- Electrical supply problems, power surges, or improper wiring
- Lightning damage
Normal wear and tear
- Components that naturally wear over time, including:
- Impellers
- Filter media
- UV bulbs
- Seals, diaphragms, or probes
- These parts are considered maintenance items and are not covered
Improper water conditions
- Use in water containing corrosive chemicals (such as chlorine or bromine)
- Use outside of recommended freshwater conditions
Costs not included
- Labor for removal or installation
- Shipping costs
- Any expenses related to reinstalling the product
Other exclusions
- Modified or altered products
- Loss of parts during use
- Incidental or consequential damages beyond the product itself
General policy note
- Damage caused by user actions, improper installation, abuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear is not covered
