No. While Aquascape underwater light fixtures are designed to be submerged, Aquascape quick-connect fittings, splitters, and extension cable connections must remain above the waterline. Submerging these connections can allow moisture to enter and damage the lighting system.
Where should lighting connections be installed?
- Keep all connections above the waterline.
- Fully tighten quick-connect fittings to help prevent moisture from entering.
- Position connections in a dry, accessible location whenever possible.
Important: Do not submerge Aquascape lighting connections, even if they are sealed with dielectric grease, electrical tape, silicone, heat-shrink tubing, or other waterproofing materials. These methods do not make the connections suitable for underwater use.
