Aquascape Faux Basalt Columns are designed to remain stable during normal use, and surrounding the base with gravel is generally sufficient.
For locations where additional security is needed, such as:
- Public installations
- High-traffic areas
- Windy locations
- Installations where movement must be minimized
The fiberglass base can be drilled and mechanically secured to the supporting surface.
Depending on the installation, appropriate hardware or heavy-duty zip ties can be used.
Make sure the column remains level and adequately supported after it is secured.
