Yes. Aquascape reviews the qualifications, experience, and completed projects of Certified Aquascape Contractors (CACs) to evaluate their knowledge and ability to properly construct water features.
As part of the certification process, contractors must submit:
- Information about their experience and training
- Details of completed water feature projects
- Project photographs and videos demonstrating their construction methods and workmanship
To maintain certification, CACs must submit updated project information and fulfill additional program requirements annually.
Aquascape also occasionally conducts on-site project inspections to evaluate construction methods and workmanship. However, Aquascape does not inspect or approve every project completed by a CAC.
Important: Certified Aquascape Contractors are independent businesses, not employees of Aquascape. Certification does not guarantee individual project workmanship. Customers should review references, insurance, licensing requirements, and project agreements before hiring a contractor.
