Certified Aquascape Contractors (CACs) are trained professionals who specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining ponds, waterfalls, and other water features using Aquascape products and construction methods.
Aquascape offers three main certification levels based on a contractor's experience, completed projects, training, and continued involvement in the program.
Certified Aquascape Contractor
The foundational certification level for contractors who have completed Aquascape's certification requirements and demonstrated their ability to build water features using approved Aquascape methods.
Professional Certified Aquascape Contractor
An advanced certification level for established contractors who have demonstrated additional experience and commitment to the Aquascape program.
Professional CACs must meet additional requirements, including:
- At least 3 years in business
- At least 1 year as a Certified Aquascape Contractor
- A portfolio of at least 6 qualifying water feature projects
- Continued participation in Aquascape training and events
Master Certified Aquascape Contractor
The highest certification level, recognizing contractors with extensive experience, a proven project portfolio, and a strong commitment to Aquascape's construction standards.
Master CACs must meet additional requirements, including:
- At least 5 years in business
- At least 3 years as a Certified Aquascape Contractor
- A portfolio of at least 12 qualifying water feature projects
- Continued participation in Aquascape training and events, including annual Pondemonium attendance
All three levels represent contractors who have met Aquascape's certification standards. Higher levels recognize additional experience and program involvement, but the contractor's qualifications, services, and suitability for your specific project should also be considered.
