Why is my UltraKlean Pond Filter backwash valve hard to turn or not working?

• The valve only rotates 90° (quarter turn)
• If stiff:
  • It may need cleaning or lubrication
• Do not use tools, as this may damage the valve

If the issue persists, further inspection or replacement may be required.
