Aquascape color-changing pond lights can display the same color or lighting effect when connected to a single Smart Control Hub (Item #84074). The lights can be controlled through the Aquascape Smart Control App or the optional Color-Changing Light Remote (Item #84073).
How to synchronize the lights
- Turn off power to the lighting transformer.
- Confirm all lights are connected to the same Smart Control Hub using compatible color-changing splitters and extension cables.
- Restore power to the transformer.
- Open the Aquascape Smart Control App and select the Smart Control Hub.
- Select a solid color or lighting effect. All connected lights should respond to the same setting.
Note: Each Smart Control Hub supports up to 150 W of Aquascape color-changing lighting. A compatible 12 V transformer is required.
What if the lights display different colors?
- Verify that all lights are connected to the same Smart Control Hub.
- Disconnect power and inspect the quick-connect fittings for loose connections, damage, or moisture.
- Reconnect the fittings securely and restore power.
- Select a solid color in the Smart Control App to test synchronization.
- If one light does not respond correctly, disconnect the other lights and test the affected light individually using the proper connection.
Important: Keep electrical connections out of the water to prevent moisture damage.
Can multiple Smart Control Hubs be synchronized?
Multiple Smart Control Hubs can create separate lighting zones with independent color settings. For lights that need to display the same color or effect, connecting them to one Smart Control Hub is recommended.
If synchronization problems continue, submit a request through the Aquascape Customer Care contact form.
