The Color-Changing Light Remote (Item #84073) controls the power, color, brightness, cycling speed, and lighting modes of compatible color-changing lights connected to the Aquascape Smart Control Hub (Item #84074). The remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included.
Remote control functions
- Power/Pair: Turns the lights on or off. This button is also used to pair the remote with the lighting control hub.
- Color Wheel: Selects the desired light color.
- Rate/Speed Up (+): Increases the speed of the Cycle or Strobe mode.
- Rate/Speed Down (-): Decreases the speed of the Cycle or Strobe mode.
- Select Mode: Stops the Cycle or Strobe mode on the desired color.
- Undo Mode: Returns the lights to the most recently selected Cycle or Strobe mode.
- Brightness Up (+): Increases the light brightness.
- Brightness Down (-): Decreases the light brightness.
- Cycle: Continuously changes the lights through all available colors.
- White: Activates the white diodes to produce warm white light at 3,000 K.
- Strobe: Activates the strobe setting.
How to pair the remote with the lighting control hub
- Install two AAA batteries in the back of the remote control.
- Press and hold the Power/Pair button on the remote.
- While continuing to hold the button, connect the hub’s 2-pin quick-connect fitting to the transformer.
- Confirm that all lights connected to the control hub flash green. The green flash indicates that the remote has been paired successfully.
