When should I clean my AquaForce pump?
Clean the pump if you notice:
- Reduced water flow or waterfall performance.
- Leaves, algae, or debris blocking the protective cage.
- Debris or buildup restricting the impeller.
How do I clean my AquaForce pump?
- Disconnect the pump from its power source.
- Remove the pump from the pond.
- Remove debris from the protective cage and rinse with a garden hose.
- If necessary, open the cage and inspect the impeller for debris or buildup.
- Clean the components and reassemble the pump.
- Return the pump to the pond before reconnecting power.
Important: Never operate the AquaForce pump without its protective cage or while the pump is out of water.
Winter maintenance: If shutting down the pond for winter, clean the pump before storing it in a frost-free location.
