When placing an order on the Aquascape website, your credit card is not charged immediately at checkout.
Here’s how the process works:

Your credit card is pre-authorized. This is a temporary hold to verify funds and ensure the transaction is valid. -
After the order is processed:
The system begins routing and preparing your order for fulfillment. -
When the order ships:
Your credit card is officially charged at the time the product ships.
Additional notes to be aware of:
- The initial authorization amount may include estimated taxes or totals that could adjust slightly before final billing.
- If items ship separately (common with multiple fulfillment locations), charges may align with those shipments.
This approach ensures you are only billed once your order is on its way.

Your Aquascape product is ordered directly from Aquascape, but fulfillment is often handled by one of our authorized retailers through our order routing system, Quivers. Orders are assigned to the location best positioned to ship them efficiently—typically a retailer near you.
