A credit card statement may be accepted as proof of purchase, but only in certain cases.
- The statement must include:
- The product information or description
- The purchase date
- If the statement only shows:
- A total charge
- A retailer name without product details
it may not be sufficient for warranty verification
If product details are not included, you may still be able to proceed by providing a date code or serial number from the product to confirm warranty eligibility.
