Aquascape products purchased through online marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon Marketplace, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, auction websites, and other third-party resale platforms may be eligible for warranty coverage only if the product was purchased new from an authorized Aquascape dealer or retailer.
To qualify for warranty service, you must provide proof of purchase showing that the seller was an authorized Aquascape dealer or retailer at the time of purchase.
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers are not covered under the Aquascape warranty.
Why Doesn't Aquascape Cover Products Purchased from Unauthorized Sellers?
When products are sold through unauthorized sellers, online auctions, or third-party resale platforms, Aquascape cannot verify:
- Whether the product is new or has been previously used
- Whether the product has been properly stored, handled, or transported
- Whether all original components and accessories are included
- Whether the product has been modified, repaired, or altered
- The authenticity of the product
- The product's chain of ownership and purchase history
Because Aquascape cannot confirm the condition or history of products sold through unauthorized channels, warranty coverage is limited to products purchased new from authorized Aquascape dealers and retailers.
The following purchases are not eligible for warranty coverage:
- Products purchased from unauthorized online marketplace sellers
- Products purchased through online auction sites where the seller is not an authorized Aquascape dealer
- Used products
- Refurbished products
- Open-box products
- Previously owned or second-hand products
- Products purchased through private-party sales
If you are unsure whether a seller is an authorized Aquascape dealer, we recommend purchasing directly from an authorized retailer or contacting Aquascape Customer Support before making your purchase.
To submit a warranty claim, proof of purchase is required for all warranty requests.
