System Maintenance Guidelines
To maintain the system, regularly inspect all components to ensure they are functioning properly. Follow these steps for effective maintenance:
Inspect Tubing
- Check tubing for signs of wear, clogs, or leaks.
- Replace tubing as needed to maintain consistent treatment flow.
- Use a soft pipe cleaner, available at most hobby stores, to clean the tubing if necessary.
- Replacement tubing is readily available if required.
Replace the Treatment Bottle
- Replace the treatment bottle as soon as it is empty.
- Always prime the system after connecting a new bottle to ensure proper flow through the tubing.
Replace the Pump Cartridge
- The pump cartridge is a consumable part and should be replaced once a year to maintain dosing accuracy.
Winterization Steps
- During cold winter months, the system will automatically stop pumping to protect its components.
- Remove the treatment bottle and control panel during this time.
- Store the removed components in a warm, dry location to prevent damage.
Ensure Efficient Operation
- By following these maintenance steps, you can ensure the system continues to operate efficiently and extend its lifespan.
