Use the Smart Pond Dosing System Controller Add-On Kit, Item #40042, to dispense two treatments simultaneously. The kit includes a controller, intake assembly with low-treatment alert, and tubing/cables.
For two treatments, use two 64 US fl oz (1.89 L) XT treatment bottles.
Install the second controller
- Open the enclosure lid and slide the second controller downward into the unused mounting tracks.
- Remove the rubber elbow covering the secondary power cable and connect that cable to the new controller.
- Connect the new controller’s outlet tubing to the unused port at the back of the enclosure. Use the pump cartridge’s inlet and outlet indicators to identify the tubing.
- Connect the inlet tubing to the barb on top of the new intake assembly. Connect the intake assembly’s low-treatment alert cable to the new controller.
- Remove the treatment bottle’s cap, place the bottle inside the enclosure, and insert the intake assembly into the bottle opening until sealed at the top.
- Connect the discharge tubing to the corresponding outside fitting. Position its discharge end above the water level of the water feature.
Set and prime the second controller
- Scan the QR code on the XT treatment to determine the correct setting for your water feature and treatment. Use the new controller’s + and − buttons to select that setting.
- Hold the new controller’s X2 button for 3 seconds until the blue light above it flashes.
- When treatment begins flowing from the discharge tubing, press X2 again to stop priming. Otherwise, priming stops automatically after approximately 3 minutes.
Each controller can also be added separately to the Aquascape Smart Control App for dosing control and low-treatment notifications.
