How to fix an UltraKlear UV Clarifier leak
Before servicing, unplug both the pond pump and UV clarifier.
Locate the leak. Identify whether water is escaping from a plumbing fitting, tubing connection, or the clarifier housing.
Inspect the gaskets. Verify that the flat rubber gaskets are present, undamaged, and properly seated inside the threaded fittings.
Check the fittings. Remove and reinstall leaking fittings. Hand-tighten only. Do not use tools.
Check the tubing. Ensure tubing is fully seated on the hose adapters and secured with hose clamps.
Inspect for damage. Check fittings and the housing for cracks or visible damage.
Test for leaks. Restore water flow and check all connections.
What if the UltraKlear continues leaking?
At a plumbing connection: Replace damaged gaskets or fittings.
At the housing or UV assembly: Disconnect power and contact Aquascape. Do not operate the unit if water may reach electrical components.
Important: The UltraKlear UV Clarifier is weatherproof but must not be submerged.
