If your Aquascape Pro Air 20 or Pro Air 60 has reduced airflow or is not producing air, check the following:
- Make sure the check valve is installed in the correct direction.
- Inspect the braided airline for kinks, pinching, or restrictions.
- Check the air diffuser for clogging or a dirty membrane.
- Inspect the air inlet sponge filter and clean or replace it if dirty.
- Make sure the airline and diffuser are not creating excessive back pressure.
If a kinked airline or clogged diffuser significantly restricts airflow, turn the compressor off until the restriction is corrected. Operating the compressor with severely restricted airflow can cause overheating.
If airflow is still weak after these checks, the compressor may require additional troubleshooting.
