Continuous scale buildup is a sign that there is not enough water flow across the probe.
- Scale buildup:
- Reduces ion output
- Affects the ability to adjust settings
- Solution:
- Clean the probe by brushing or scraping
- Move the probe to a higher flow location
- In-line installation often improves performance
