If algae is still present after extended use, several factors may be limiting performance.
- Common causes:
- Copper levels are too low
- Insufficient water flow
- Scale or debris buildup on the probe
- Water chemistry outside recommended range
- Type of algae (some are less affected)
- Solutions:
- Increase ionization level if copper is low
- Improve water flow or relocate probe
- Clean the probe
- Adjust water chemistry as needed
