Why Priming is Important
Priming the Automatic Dosing System ensures the treatment flows through the tubing properly and prepares the system for accurate dosing. It is necessary:
- When first setting up the system.
- When replacing or installing a new water treatment bottle.
Steps to Manually Prime the Automatic Dosing System
Step 1: Enter Priming Mode
- Press and hold the x2 button for 3 seconds until the blue light above the button begins to flash.
- The flashing blue light indicates that the system is now in priming mode.
Step 2: Allow the System to Prime
- Once in priming mode, the pump will automatically push the treatment through the tubing.
- Observe the tubing for the flow of the treatment.
Step 3: Exit Priming Mode
- Automatic Exit: The system will turn off priming mode after approximately 3 minutes, returning to normal operation.
- Manual Exit: You can manually stop priming at any time by pressing the x2 button once the treatment begins to discharge at the tubing's outlet.
Tips for Effective Priming
- Ensure all connections between the bottle and tubing are secure before starting.
- Monitor the discharge point to confirm the treatment is flowing correctly.
- Properly primed systems dispense water treatment accurately, maintaining a healthy and balanced aquatic environment.
