Each UltraKlear model has a specific maximum flow rate that should not be exceeded:
- UltraKlear 1000: 500 GPH (1,893 LPH)
- UltraKlear 2500: 1,000 GPH (3,785 LPH)
- UltraKlear 5000: 1,500 GPH (5,678 LPH)
Maintaining the proper flow rate is critical because it determines how long the water is exposed to UV light. If water moves too quickly through the unit, the contact time is reduced, which can limit the effectiveness of the clarifier.
