A reduction in water flow can occur for several reasons related to the installation or condition of the system:
- The UltraKlear unit itself creates some natural restriction in the plumbing
- The internal swirl (corkscrew) sleeve may be clogged with debris
- The pump or plumbing lines may have buildup or blockages
Regular inspection and cleaning of the system, including the pump and internal components of the UV unit, will help maintain proper flow rates.
