Choose your Dosing System SL control-panel setting based on your pond’s water volume, using the chart on the SL treatment bottle or the official SL treatment chart.
Match the setting to your pond volume
These are the ranges published in Aquascape’s chart; metric values are rounded.
| SL setting | Pond volume (US gal) | Pond volume (L) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0–250 | 0–950 |
| 2 | 250–500 | 950–1,900 |
| 3 | 500–750 | 1,900–2,800 |
| 4 | 750–1,000 | 2,800–3,800 |
| 5 | 1,000–1,250 | 3,800–4,700 |
| 6 | 1,250–1,500 | 4,700–5,700 |
| 7 | 1,500–1,750 | 5,700–6,600 |
| 8 | 1,750–2,000 | 6,600–7,600 |
| 9 | 2,000–2,250 | 7,600–8,500 |
For example, a 900 US gal (approximately 3,407 L) pond uses setting 4.
Set the controller
Use the button on the Dosing System SL control panel to select the recommended setting. The controller defaults to setting 1, so check that it matches your pond’s volume.
Do not overdose. Calculate your pond volume before selecting the setting. If your pond falls between settings, Aquascape’s chart recommends rounding up or down to the nearest setting.
The chart applies to 32 US fl oz (946 mL) SL treatments. Its “Days” column estimates how long a bottle lasts; it is not an instruction to add treatment manually at that interval.
