Plumbing connections
The IonGen System G2 includes the following flow chamber fittings:

The flow chamber is designed for installation in a circulating water system using the specified fittings.

The Canadian IonGen System G2 is rated for water features up to 25,000 gallons (94,635 liters).
The Canadian model uses the G2 electronic ionization system and is identified separately from the U.S. model.

Recommended water chemistry
Proper water chemistry is essential for effective operation, particularly in ponds containing fish.
- Copper concentration: 0.25 ppm (mg/L) maximum
- Total alkalinity (KH): 100–250 ppm (mg/L)
- Ideal pH: 7.2–7.8
Important: Copper concentrations exceeding 0.25 ppm may be toxic to fish. Monitor copper levels using the supplied test kit and follow the manufacturer's operating instructions.
