Aquascape's limited product warranties cover manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship during the applicable warranty period, subject to the terms and conditions of each product's warranty.
Warranty coverage applies to eligible products that have been properly installed, operated, and maintained according to Aquascape's instructions.
What happens if a product is covered?
If Aquascape determines that a product has a covered manufacturing defect, Aquascape may, at its discretion:
- Repair the defective product.
- Replace the defective product.
- Provide a refund or credit, as permitted by the applicable warranty terms.
Warranty claims are subject to review and, when required, inspection of the product. Submitting a warranty claim does not guarantee approval.
What is not covered?
Aquascape's general warranty requirements exclude:
- Abuse, alteration, or unauthorized or unreasonable use.
- Theft or loss of the product.
- Labor, product removal, and installation or reinstallation expenses.
- Shipping expenses.
Depending on the product, additional exclusions may include:
- Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or inadequate maintenance.
- Damage caused by electrical supply problems, improper wiring, or lightning.
- Normal wear of components such as pump impellers.
- Damage caused by operating a pump without sufficient water.
- Damage resulting from improper draining or winterization.
Product-specific warranty statements determine which additional exclusions apply.
