Test copper levels frequently when starting the IonGen System or adjusting its ionization setting. Once the system is operating consistently, continue testing periodically.
- During startup: Test the pond water over several days to monitor copper levels.
- After adjusting the ionization setting: Test over several days to ensure copper levels remain within the recommended limit.
- During normal operation: Continue testing periodically to monitor water conditions.
Important: Always keep copper concentrations below 0.25 ppm (0.25 mg/L) to protect fish and other aquatic life.
